Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to visit one of the oldest streets in Egypt, El Moez Le Din Allah Street, with various monuments spread along both sides, such as Bab al-Futuh and Bab al-Nasr.
Al-Muizz street runs from the city gate of Bab al-Futuh in the north to the gate of Bab Zuweila in the south, both entrances in the stone walls built by the vizier Badr al-Jamali in the 11th century.[1] This makes it one of the longest streets in the walled city, at approximately one kilometer long. Although the name al-Muizz street generally applies only to the street within the historic walled city, in practice the road begun by al-Muizz street continues (under various names) further south for a few kilometers, passing through the Qasaba of Radwan Bey (al-Khayamiya street), and finally ending at the great Qarafa necropolis (the Southern Cemetery or City of the Dead)
Continue to the northern side of the city, in El Darb El Asfar, the most ancient quarter of Islamic Cairo. You can see here monuments such as Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Barquq and school in Nahassen, El Aqmar Mosque, the Mosque of El Saleh Tala, the Blue Mosque, the Dome, hospital, the school of Qalawun, and more.
Later move to the Khan El Khalili bazaar. Enjoy a myriad of stalls offering fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, etc.
At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
